Noah Elmore was born and raised in Madison, Alabama before beginning college at Baylor University in 2016 to study entrepreneurship, math, and communication as a part of their Baylor Business Fellows Program. Throughout his life he has had an interest in the arts, whether it be playing in the band, learning guitar, performing with the theatre department in his high school, or acting as an extra in multiple films. He even took many of the photographs on this website himself during his travels. By combining his creative influences with his business and math background, he hopes to help local artists gain more recognition within their communities.

The idea for Latent Arts came to him as he was reflecting on his sister's working experience as an artist. "She and a friend were commissioned to paint a mural of King Herod for the Huntsville First Baptist Church in Big Spring Park. I remember that the process of finding them was not very streamlined. The church had gone through different schools, then her theatre teacher chose her and her friend, then they went in for an interview, and finally they started the job. I thought to myself, 'what if there was a way for the community to find and hire artists more easily?' Pretty soon I began working on the concept for this website, and I am excited to see what it can do!"
