Profile Creation:

 

Latent Arts is an online service that aims to help local artists more easily connect with local businesses and people. We do so by allowing artists to create and upload a profile on the website under their desired section that features their name, where they are from, their artistic genre or medium, a profile picture, a link to their personal website,  a short biography about themselves and their art, and up to three(3) image samples, one(1) video sample, and two(2) writing samples of their work. You [the artist] will be able to do this on the next page. PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL NOT HAVE DIRECT EDITING ACCESS TO YOUR PROFILE AFTER IT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED, SO PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL PROFILE INFORMATION IS CORRECT BEFORE SUBMITTING.  If any edits need to be made, please go to our contact page and submit your requested change. In future versions of the website, we hope to give additional creative control to our website's users.

Latent Arts is not an individualized agent. If at any point you become unhappy with our services, you may contact us and we will delete your profile.

Bookings:

Your name, location, region, profile picture, artist type, genre/style/medium, biography, personal website URL, and samples will be available for all website users to see. You will be notified via email if a user wishes to book your services. If you are interested in the opportunity, you can then contact the user directly.

Any agreement formed using our services is completely voluntary and therefore Latent Arts will not be held responsible for any issues that arise.

Profile Content:

Fake profiles and spam profiles will be removed to maintain authenticity. All new profiles will be monitored closely. We understand that many of the projects completed using this site will involve real-world interaction between clients and artists and want to do our best to ensure the safety of both parties.

Latent Arts' service is designed for artists to become more well known and be hired to do work for their communities. We acknowledge that many forms of expression are considered art and will do our best to ensure your profile accurately depicts your works. However, as your profile will be viewable by all website users, site content must be determined to be community appropriate. Accounts with the following content will not be approved:

1) Pornographic Images or Videos

2) Excessive cursing or offensive language

3) Offensive or Discriminatory messages or works

4) Copyrighted materials or materials you do not own

5) Links that connect to websites primarily dedicated to the kinds of content above

You will be contacted via email concerning any infringements of the site guidelines if your profile is not approved. Otherwise expect your profile to appear on the site within 24 hours of creation at content.

Use of Provided Information by Latent Arts:

Latent Arts reserves the rights to use any of the information, images, and videos you upload in, but not limited to:

​

1) Your profile page

2) Your selected artist type page

3) Any other section of this website, in order to authentically market the works of local artists

4) Any advertising material produced by Latent Arts

Latent Arts will do our best to ensure you are given credit for any use of your works as per our service. Anything used beyond your profile on the website will contain your name and will link to your profile. We do not claim any right to use the images or videos you include in the biography section of your profile or on your personal website, but we strongly encourage you to include some on-site information to show to potential clients.
