Listing Creation:

Latent Arts is an online service that aims to help local artists more easily connect with local businesses and people. Through the local listings section of the website, users can create a job listing for artists to browse and then allow them [the user] to connect with the interested artists. On the following page, you [the user] will be asked to fill out a form in order to create a local listing to be displayed on our website. PLEASE NOTE: AFTER SUBMITTING, YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT LATENT ARTS IF YOU WISH TO EDIT OR DELETE YOUR LISTING. We hope to allow for more user control of their own listings in the future.

Listing Content:

Fake listings and spam listings will be taken down if discovered. We want to ensure that any jobs listed are authentic and available. We understand that many of the projects completed using this site will involve real-world interaction between clients and artists and will do our best to ensure the safety of both parties.

Latent Arts' services help local artists connect with their communities. Therefore, listing descriptions and images must follow community guidelines and are subject to approval before they are displayed. The following content will not be approved:

1) Pornographic Images

2) Excessive cursing or offensive language

3) Offensive or Discriminatory messages or images

4) Copyrighted materials or materials you do not own

5) Links that connect to websites primarily dedicated to the kinds of content above

You will be contacted via email concerning any infringements of the site guidelines if your listing is not approved. Otherwise, expect your listing to appear on the site within 24 hours of creation.

Listing Bookings

Any agreement formed using our services to hire and meet an artist is completely voluntary and therefore Latent Arts will not be held responsible for any issues that arise.

Protection of Lister Information:

Your job name, business name, job description, requested artist type, ideal start date, payment amount, and listing creation date will be on display for all users to see. Your name and contact information will not be given out unless you list it in your job description as well, and Latent Arts will claim no responsibility to anything users do with this information. If an artist decides to contact you via your listing interest page, we will notify you via email. If you decide to hire them, we will put you in touch with the artist directly to work out the details of your job. Once an artist takes your job please notify us so we can remove the listing from the website.

In order to keep space available for new listings and artists, any listing that has not been deleted or completed within two(2) months of the ideal start date will be taken down. We will notify you if this happens via email and you may repost the listing if you wish.

Use of Provided Information by Latent Arts:

Latent Arts reserves the right to use any of the information or images you upload in, but not limited to:

​

1) Your Listing Creation underneath the local listings tab

2) Any other section of this website, in order to authentically market the works of local artists

3) Any advertising material produced by Latent Arts

By creating a listing, you are giving Latent Arts permission to contact you concerning your listing or our services.
